Club Histories - Yore Publications, who were established in 1991, embarked on a style of Football League club histories that had not been published before. Contained normally within around 250 to 300 pages is the detailed written and well illustrated history of the club, the complete statistics (including line-ups) for at least every Football League season - with many named team groups alongside - and a one line ‘Who's Who section containing brief details of every first team player over the years. Other sections variously include a feature on the match day programme, the managers, the grounds etc.

The comprehensive style format has proved popular over the years, with over 30 clubs having been featured, from (now) non-League Scarborough and Chester City, to Premiership clubs Bolton Wanderers and Reading. The available titles are ever-changing with some going out of print, whilst new titles appear frequently.

Who's Who - A popular subject are the Who's Who books, which feature every player who has played at least one competitive match for the club in question. Brief statistical (number of matches played and goals scored, etc.) and personal details (date of birth, height and weight, etc.) are included together with such facts as other clubs played for and honours. A career resume follows - varying from a few lines to a detailed feature for the more notable names. A head and shoulder photo. accompanies about one in ten players.

Rejected Books - Yore Publications commenced publishing with the ‘Rejected F.C. series of books. The English version consists of three volumes, in which fairly detailed histories (plus brief statistics) of the clubs that once graced the Football League but were eventually voted out - the last being Southport in 1978.
